TRICHOSAFE® application with manual application
The manual application allows easy and quick application of the TRICHOSAFE® cards and TRICHOSAFE® balls. With the hand application method, up to 2 ha of area can be treated per hour.
TRICHOSAFE®-cards
Depending on the level of infestation, 30 or 50 cards/ha are spread according to the schemes shown below.
Spreading instructions of TRICHOSAFE® cards for weak infestation (30 trailers/ha)
You receive a bundle of 30 cards per hectare. In the field, open the paper banderole, walk 10 m from the edge of the field and 8.3 m in a row and start distributing. Every 16.7 m you hang a card in a leaf axis of a corn plant. At the end of the row, continue in a row 20 m away following the same pattern.
Application instructions TRICHOSAFE® cards for medium infestation (50 cards /ha)
You will receive two bundles of 25 cards per hectare. On the field, open the paper banderole, walk 7m from the edge of the field, 7m in a row and start distributing. For this you hang a card every 14m in a leaf cluster of a corn plant. At the end of the row, continue in a row 14m away following the same pattern.
In particularly warm regions the application period is so early that the maize is not yet high enough to hang the pendants in the maize plant. For this purpose, we are happy to supply you with thin wooden sticks to which the pendants can be attached and then only need to be stuck into the soil.
TRICHOSAFE® ball
You will receive one bag of 100 balls per hectare. On the field, open the bag, walk 10 m from the edge of the field and 2.5 m into the row and start distributing. The ball is thrown or placed in a leaf axis for better effect. After another 5 m, a ball is thrown about 5 m to the left at a 90° angle. After another 5 meters a ball is thrown about 5 meters to the right at a 90° angle. This sequence is repeated until the end of the row. At the end of the row, continue in a row 20 metres away, following the same pattern.
